Calero Park has a new section open to the public, and a new entrance, the Rancho San Vicente entrance, with room for lots of cars, plus restrooms.
Ideally this cache would mark the trailhead, but there's another cache nearby, so instead this cache marks a gate that is intended to confine the cattle that graze in this area. Hikers are asked to make sure to close the gate after they go through. But perhaps there is some other reason to pay attention to this gate? A geocache, perhaps?
