Geocache Description:

QCAC presents:

*Iowa Geocachers Association*

Started in 2004, Hike-n-Seek is hosted in different locations across Iowa and is one of the largest geocaching events held annually in Iowa. This year's event is hosted in Scott County, IA.
Event Details:
Dinner and the annual meeting will be held at Wapsi Willy's in Long Grove, IA.
Full event schedule and details will be posted and updated via the HnS18 website at
Dinner will be served buffet-style starting at 6pm. It is a taco bar, including both beef and chicken, soft and hard shells, beans and rice, chips and salsa, cheese sauce, and all the toppings. Cost will be $13, payable through the IGO store here. This price includes the taco buffet, tax, and gratuity. Drink purchases are separate and will be paid on site while attending the event. If you prefer to dine from the Wapsi Willy's menu, you will be able to do that as well. Posting a "will attend" log on the event page will NOT sign you up for dinner, so make your payment online before September 16 if you would like to eat from the buffet!
The annual Iowa Geocachers Organization board meeting will begin around 7:45pm.

**Cache at your own risk**

Geocaching, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor activities involve risk to both persons and property. There are many variables including, but not limited to, weather, fitness level, terrain features and outdoor experience, that must be considered prior to seeking a Cache. Be prepared for your journey and be sure to check the current weather and conditions before heading outdoors. Always exercise common sense and caution.
**Remember to be good ambassadors to nature. We as geocachers have a responsibility to leave it as we found it, so others may enjoy nature's glory. Always replace the cache the way you found it, so others may enjoy the find.
