The home base location is the picturesque Queanbeyan Showground, in Glebe Street Queanbeyan, located 1 km from the Canberra border. The themed character is the Yowie. The word Queanbeyan is the anglicised form of Quibean , an aboriginal word meaning "Clear Waters".So ,its fitting to go with this event name.
