The Pelican Brief was a suspense thriller written in 1992 by John Grisham and made into a film the following year.
Let me "briefly" give you a few of the details of this plot. The story was about a double assassination of two supreme court justices by a worldwide terrorist. The two court justices were Rosenberg, a liberal, who is killed at his home while the conservative justice Jensen was slain inside a gay movie theater in Washington. The circumstances of their deaths, as well as the deaths themselves, shocked and confused a politically divided nation.
Enter Darby Shaw, a Tulane University law student, who conducts research on Rosenberg and Jensen's records and writes a legal brief speculating that they were not killed for political reasons. So what was the motive for the murders?
If you are interested in the outcome I would invite you to learn more about this thriller by either reading the book or watching the movie. (Books are always better)
But of course the Pelican Brief that you are looking for has nothing at all to do with John Grisham's novel. It has to do with a container that was given to me by donj51 at a CITO event to be used for placing a cache. I really think he just wanted another cache in the area to go after. Thanks Don
