To celebrate my 40th Birthday this year, I have created a series of 40 caches. They are split into groups of ten to represent different decades of my life ...
This cache is the tenth of my 1970s based caches that create a walk, which begins in Selston. This cache represents a childhood games.
When I was younger, we didn't have all the computer games, but much more simpler entertainment. A variety of games can be played, using the cache content.
You are now looking for a cache that is hidden low down in nature,. Please replace as found. BYOP. Tweezer recommended.
Whilst here, please notice the Portland Path Tramway plaque on Barrows Hill Lane. This is where the tramway from Wagstaff Lane crossed on its way to the Ashes Farm junction.
All caches have been placed with my geokids on great walks we have discovered together. Watch out though for naughty nettles and some of the areas would benefit from wearing welly boots in the winter months!
Caches in this series of 40 celebrations include:
1970s - Caches #1 to #10: MY CHILDHOOD. 'Experiences growing up' themed caches.
1980s - Caches #11 to #20: MY TEENAGE YEARS. 'Ey up me duck!' themed caches.
1990s - Caches #21 to 30: MY TEACHING CAREER. 'Elmo Rules' themed caches.
2000s - Caches #31 to 40: MY MUMMYHOOD YEARS. 'Mini Monster Rainbow' themed caches.
HAPPY CACHING FUN! 😃😃😃
