Set for the 2018 Winter Geolympix with permission from the National Trust. If you intend to attempt the Letter/Box Challenge on Mega day you may want to leave this until then.
A Puzzle-type Letterbox/Hybrid cache (please don't remove the ink pad or stamp; they're not swaps) - The cache is NOT at the given co-ords, but it within two miles of this spot.. To work out exactly where, first you have to crack a puzzle or code.
Method 1: Use some AANDs (Aluminium Alpha-Numeric Discs. There are around 4,000 in circulation) and go to F51° 4U.XCT' V000° 3B.GED'. Picking which combination of AANDs you need could be a 1/100 guess, so I've added some clues to this hsfd...
Method 2: Solve this cache's twin, and deduct 0.174 from the Northings and add 0.017 to the Westings to get the co-ords for this cache. Easy! This also works vice-versa, of course... You may also find extra clues there.
Method 3: Take the final digit of the years requested for these women and female characters and creations to calculate the final co-ords of this cache, using the following formula. There are larger versions of the images in this cache's Gallery - and the one linked to above (I decided to split the listing in two) - if you need a better look. Good luck!
The final is hidden at N51 4A.BC W000 3D.EF where:
Note HQ is a two digit number. If H=9 and Q=9 HQ is 99 not 81!
Year of her death.
Year the film was released.
Year she made history.
A. J. Year of her birth.
Last digit of year of the actress's birth.
First appearance in the film franchise.
Year of release.
First appearance in print.
Year she was born or died.
Year of the film's release.
Release of the original game.
Numeric value (A=1, B=2.., J=0, Z=6) of the first letter of her surname.
Year of publication of the book, not this 2001 film adaptation.
Age when she died.
Numeric value of the first letter of the actress, singer, monologist and comedienne's surname.
Please DO NOT remove the stamp or ink pad. Neither is a swap - They make this cache a LetterBox/Hybrid. Thank you!
