Salacgrīvas bāka atrodas Salacas upes labajā krastā - četrstūrains balts tornis ar sarkanu laternu tā galā. Šodien bāka vairs nedarbojas - sekojot šai bākai, visi zvejnieki ceļu mājup jau atraduši un stāsts noslēdzies laimīgi. Bāka tika uzcelta, jo daudzo sēkļu dēļ piekraste starp Salacgrīvu un Ainažiem bija visā Rīgas jūras līča piekrastē bīstamākais apgabals kuģošanai.
Pragmatisku nolūku vadīti - pasargāt Salacas krastu no erozijas - novada tēvi lēma būvēt promenādi. Gāja laiks, vietējie saveda akmeņus un tā tapa! Gluži kā baronu laikos, taču ar nelielu nobīdi laikā - Salacgrīvas promenādi atklāja 2014. gada maijā.
Šodien bāka pilda pilsētas neoficiālā simbola pienākumus un ir kā vietējais Laimas pulkstenis - paskaties kādā skaidrā vasaras vakarā - šī ir tā vieta, kur tikties! Lieliska vieta, kur siltajos vakaros malkot tēju un vērot saules ritumu, agri no rīta ar kafijas krūzi rokās skatīt, kā veči pārbauda tīklus upes grīvā vai ar binokli ķīķerēt kā pretējā upes krastā top kārtējais pašportrets ar Pārcēlāju.

The Salacgriva Lighthouse is located on the right bank of the Salaca River - a four-cornered white tower with a red lantern at its end. Today, the lighthouse is no longer working - following this lighthouse, all fishermen have already found their way home and the story is finished happily. The lighthouse was built because of the numerous strains the coast between Salacgriva and Ainaži was the most dangerous area for shipping throughout the Gulf of Riga.
