Geocache Description:


War Memorial cache #482 We will remember them ~ West Harton

Cross, 4 feet 9 inches high on a base 1 foot 2 inches deep x 1 foot 9 inches wide (1.44m x 355 mm x 533 mm). At the crossing are the “IHS” interwoven initials.
The dedication is carried down the stem of the cross, the names are on the front and sides of the plinth. Lettering is carved and filled with black lead.

This is a multi-cache and can be found a short distance away at N 54° 58.ABC' W 1° 26.DEF' by working out the coordinates from the clues below.

A = Number of heroes with the first name of William (on all sides)
B = Number of letters in the third word of the inscription.
C = Number of letters in the surname of the first hero listed
D = First number on the memorial plus the seventh number own the front of the memorial.
E = On the nearby sign, to the right of the memorial attached to the church, there is a coffee morning what is the number before "In Month".
F = Number of letters in the first name of the 2nd hero listed.
