Geocache Description:

[ENG] Along with the alley, there had been the Vanagu house, where the painter Janis Kalmīte spent his childhood. In summertime the Count Martens with his daughters used to stay here. They studied the drawing and painting at Theodore Uder and Jānis Kalmīte has often observed the process.

This cache is also part of tourism campaign “Centennial treasures”. More info: visit.valmiera.lv
