[LAT] Šaursliežu dzelzceļa līnija Smiltene – Ainaži atklāta 1912.gadā. Pēc atklāšanas pirmais pa jaunajām sliedēm ar motovelosipēdu uz trim ratiem braucis pats grāfs Pauls Līvens, bet tūlīt aiz viņa lokomotīve ar pasažieru vagonu, kas pirmajā braucienā uzņēmis vien divus pasažierus. Slēpņa vieta atrodas pusceļā starp Cempu piestātni un Jaunvāles staciju.

Šis slēpnis ir arī daļa no tūrisma akcijas "Simtgades dārgumi", ko organizē Valmieras Tūrisma informācijas centrs sadarbībā ar Kocēnu, Burtnieku un Beverīnas novadiem. Vairāk info: visit.valmiera.lv

[ENG] The narrow-gauge railway line Smiltene-Ainaži was opened in 1912. After the opening, the first has been driving on the new rails the Count Pauls Līvens with his motorcycle on three wheels, but immediately behind him a locomotive engine with a passenger carriage, which took only two passengers on the first trip. The cache is halfway between the Cempi and Jaunvāle Station.
