We love trees and I've always wondered about these lonely trees....why they were spared but glad they were. I found out I'm not the only one who thinks this. While reading a book from one of my favorite local authors, Eric Bergeson, he had a chapter devoted to this subject. I got to thinking these trees need visitors before they meet their demise either due to nature or man made. I thought this cottonwood made a perfect spot for a cache. There is an approach to park at near by. There is a prize for the FTF...Please watch your step. Optional: Post a pic of yourself by the tree. Note: FTF honors go to TalonHunter, who we met at an event he held in Winnipeg recently. Congrats on the quick find and glad he enjoyed the hide.
