Geocache Description:

Bigfoot isn’t lost, he’s geocaching! This cache was placed in conjunction with the 2018 Friends of Hudson Parks “Hike Hudson - In Search of Bigfoot” fall hiking program. That program is over now, but you can still look for Bigfoot with this two stage multi-cache. At Maple Grove Park there is a looping trail, approximately one mile long, winding through the wooded area.  To get to the 1st stage you can head either direction from the parking area (see listed waypoint). For the final you will be off trail, so dress appropriately.  A waypoint is provided for a good location to leave the trail to head towards the final. This waypoint may also prove helpful in finding your way back to the trail! NO NIGHT CACHING!

At stage one you are looking for a small, not too intimidating Bigfoot. Here you are looking for the last 3 digits of the North and West coordinates for the final and Bigfoot’s hiding spot.

Stay on the trail on the way to the final until you get to the bench at the listed waypoints.  Then – if you dare – head into the woods for your quest for Bigfoot.  This is where Bigfoot lives, so please leave him there!
