Geocache Description:

Zlato rozgo bomo pulili vsaj tri ure. Rozge je dovolj za vse. Če nas bo več, ne bo akcija nič krajša, le kup izpuljene nadloge bo večji. Organizatorji bomo poskrbeli za malico.

🇬🇧🇺🇸 Dry meadows in the gravel bars of Sava river between Tacen and Jarški prodi are the last refuge of Chapman's blue (Polyommatus thersites), a small butterfly from Lycaenidae family, in central Slovenia. Unfortunately, this habitat is disappearing due to overgrowing of the meadows with invasive species like European goldenrod. Join Slovenian Geocaching Club and Slovenian Society for Study and Preservation of Butterflies in an effort to improve the habitat of this endangered butterfly on September 29 at 9.00 on published coordinates. We will release all our hidden aggressiveness and uproot as much of the European goldenrod plants as we can. Wear appropriate clothes, gardening gloves could be useful, too. The event will last for at least two hours.
