The Punta Gorda Library has changed so much over the years! It was originally established in 1908, before Charlotte County itself was formed in 1921. It is the oldest branch of the Charlotte County Library System and has been in several locations over the years as the population grows. Facing the front entrance of the building (closest to Shreve Street)take in the breathtaking views from the Punta Gorda Pathway. Towards the left side of your view, make your way towards the hanging Spanish Moss.
