A Fine Pair #1234 - Marlow Oxford Road
At the given coordinates, you will be standing in front of 'A Fine Pair' - a red telephone box and a red post box. Both are still operational and are both iconic British artefacts and slowly disappearing from British streets. The cache is not at the posted coordinates but is a short walk away.
You need to gather some information from these items to find where the geocache is hidden.
Telephone number: 01628 48ABCD
Post Box Collection (Mon-Fri): Epm
Post Box Collection (Sat): 1F.3Fpm
Postal Telephone Number: 0345G G40G40
Post Box Number: SL7 HH3
Now calculate the final cache coordinates:
N 51 BA . B D H
W 000 C (D + H) . (F + G + H) (E - B) (E - B)
At the final coordinates, you will be looking for a magnetic film canister.
The Terrain rating is set at 1.5 simply because of the height of the cache at the final location. Wheelchair users will not be able to reach the container or return it from a seated position, so will require som help with this.
Congratulations to Burton's Are Go! for a very quick FTF!
I like my caches to be found, and I am always happy to help you find / solve them, but, the rules of geocaching are:
1. Find the cache.
2. Sign the logsheet and log it online to say that you found it.
Any online logs without a signed log sheet will result in online logs being deleted.
3. Return the cache exactly as you found it. DO NOT TAKE IT HOME.
The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum but is now managed by mattd2k
