Geocache Description:

In order to help ring in a brand new caching year, Team Murphy is inviting cachers to drop by Confederation Park in Burnaby at 10am on January 1st. Why so early? There are probably some eager beavers who will want to grab some nearby caches or visit other events that day.

WHAT/WHY: A Geocaching Event for cachers to get together and talk about the wonderful geocaching adventures they have planned for 2019, maybe also discover a trackable or three.

WHERE: The posted coordinates are for the picnic shelter at the east side of the park, not far from the Dundas Street parking lot. Many of you will be familiar with this spot from past events.

That lot has ample parking, and this event is very transit friendly. The shelter is just a 4 minute walk from either bus stop #51845 (eastbound) or #51878 (westbound) near East Hastings & Beta Ave.

WHEN: Tuesday, January 1, 2019 10:00 am - 11:00 am

There are restrooms nearby, as well as bike racks. Some basic refreshments will be available, and we would like to supply each attendee with a small memento of their visit so please let us know in advance how many of you will attend.
