I have been on a streak of at least 1 cache find per day since 12/31/15. I started the streak with gw0143, for a leap year (2016), and when we started we were still new to the Bay Area. This streak taught me a lot about our new home, it helped me make new friends, and it got me through several geocaching challenges and souvenirs. I even blogged about it.
On the day of this event, 1/14/19, my streak will hit 1111 consecutive days. I have decided this is a good time to end it because I am starting a new full-time job on 1/8/19 and I will no longer have time to attend events or go find caches during the work week. With this event, I want to celebrate the streak, and my new job, with donuts!
