It's the only song Bob Dylan ever wrote that went to #1 in America. The Byrds formed in Los Angeles during 1964 and it had only one member of the 5 that would follow them through. His name was Jim McGuinn. It was in 1967 that he changed is name to Roger because of the influence of a guru in Indonesia.
