Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the History Quest series for Charlotte County History Services.

Use the clues to find this book-friendly cache dedicated to pioneer resident, Forrest Nelson. Forrest Nelson Boulevard in Port Charlotte commemorates the original road leading to the 180-acre Murdock, FL homestead purchased by Forrest Nelson in 1930. This homestead included land ranging from behind the Mid-County Regional Library property down Forrest Nelson Blvd. towards Quesada Ave where Restlawn Cemetery lies. Nelson was known for his ornamental plant nurseries and prized orchids. The Nelson's were a pioneer family of Murdock, FL (now a part of Port Charlotte) with origins leading back to the early 1900s. The final cache coordinates are hidden in the library. Use the answers (in order) to reveal the catalog number for the book hiding the coordinates inside.
