About Baillieston Station

Baillieston is a generic 2 platform through station on the Rutherglen to Coatbridge line.
The line, predominantly a freight line, was opened in 1865. The first station was opened in 1866 and further east of this station. It was closed in 1964.
This station was built and opened in 1993. The line was electrified in 2014. The station see 2 trains an hour each way, Eastbound towards Whifflet & Motherwell and Westbound toward Glasgow.

The cache -
Stealth is needed as the location is over looked by houses. The road can be busy at times.
