Shannon est une ville située dans la municipalité régionale de comté (MRC) de La Jacques-Cartier et la région administrative de la Capitale-Nationale. La ville est née le 14 decembre 1946 d'un démembrement du territoire de Ste-Catherine-de-Portneuf (aujourd'hui Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier), à la suite de protestations de cette partie de la population contre les taxes municipales. Sa population est issue historiquement de l'émigration irlandaise, d'ou son nom. Les principales ressources ont longtemps été l'exploitation du bois à destination des chantiers navals de Québec. Le 20 mai 2017, la municipalité de Shannon change son statut pour celui de ville.
Vous aurez le choix de parcourir la ville dans la langue de votre choix ainsi que le mode de déplacement (auto ou vélo). Selon votre choix, les zones seront différentes. Comptez environ 8 km en automobile ou 6 km à vélo pour le parcours.
Cartouche optimale avec Garmin Oregon et iPhone. Les autres types de téléphones portables et tablettes devraient supporter la cartouche. J'y ai intégré plusieurs sons, mais certains ne sont pas compatibles avec les Garmin.

Shannon is a town located in the Regional County Municipality (MRC) of La Jacques-Cartier and the administrative region of the Capitale-Nationale. The city was born December 14, 1946 of a dismemberment of the territory of Ste-Catherine-de-Portneuf (today Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier), following protests of this part of the population against municipal taxes. Its population is historically a result of Irish emigration, hence its name. The main resources have long been logging for the shipyards of Quebec City. On May 20, 2017, the municipality of Shannon changes its status to that of city.
You will have the choice to visit the city in the language of your choice as well as the way of travel (car or bike). Depending on your choice, the zones will be different. Circuit is about 8 km by car and 6 km by bike.
Optimum play of cartridge with Garmin Oregon and iPhone. Other types of mobile phones and other divices should handle the cartridge. I have integrated several sounds, but some are not compatible with Garmins.
