A Amanita ponderosa, vulgarmente designada de Silarca, Cilerca ou Tortulho, é uma espécie de cogumelo comestível nativo do Sul da Península Ibérica que tem como principal habitat o montado. Esta espécie vive em simbiose com o sobreiro, a azinheira e algumas espécies de cistáceas.

É um cogumelo com elevado valor gastronómico mas que pode ser confundido com outras espécie de amanitas tóxicas como a Amanita verna e a Amanita phalloides.

Para promover este tesouro gastronómico o nosso grupo juntou-se à Junta de Freguesia de Cabeça Gorda, para a divulgação da Silarca em conjunto com o Geocaching.

O programa do evento será o seguinte:

11:00 - Workshop teórico sobre Geocaching e o Geo Alentejo
12:00 - Almoço Livre
14:00 - Caminhada
