Geocache Description:

The foundation of the chapel goes back to the early days of Christianity, but in 1787 the flamboyant sixteenth century chapel was razed and rebuilt by the Count of Kergariou, lord of Beauregard. During the works, Gallo-Roman tiled coffins, possibly from a Christian community of the 3rd-4th century, were updated under the pavement. This place has been dedicated to the Virgin Mary since the Middle Ages. The current building has a striking tower that was rebuilt after cyclone damage in 1895.

The cache will be found at the foot of a tree to the south-east of the church.
