Geocache Description:

06 April 2019, 13:00 - 14:00

This event has been approved by HQ, attend this event, log your attendance and you will be getting a souvenir !

Boy, do I love talking about building Gadget Caches !  I just couldn't pass up having an event that Celebrates -  Creative Cache creation.  Let's get together and talk about what it takes to make a great Gadget cache.

I'll bring some examples of Gadget Caches never yet seen.   These NEW caches will be part of  "Berkekely Gadgets GeoTour"  being launched on June 8th.

If enough cachers show up, we can break into small teams and I'll be asking the attendees to help me "test"  many of the new gadget caches being launched on the Berkeley Gadgets GeoTour. I'd love you hear your views on what the difficulty level should be. If we have a small crowd, we'll just work thru them together.

Not only will we be testing these new gadget caches, but we will have an  interactive discussion, not limited to,  but including

  • How to pick a great location
  • Making it to last, use of pine, mdf, cedar and the latest craze West System.
  • Painting, how to make it pop !
  • Design and Testing
  • Where do you get  ideas

Event will be held at the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) located at 126 E Race Street, Martinsburg, WV. There is plenty of free parking across the street. We will start at 1 pm it will last until 2, but I'll hang around for anyone who wants to talk about Creative Cache building.
