Geocache Description:

07 April 2019, 12:00 - 15:00

Šajā cerams pavasarīgajā dienā aicinam slēpņotājus uz darbnīcu "Creation Celebration: Get Me Up There!"

  • Tikšanās vieta: Knaģa priede
  • Līdzi jāņem: obligāti - jebkāda veida ķivere, safety first!

In this hopefully nice and warm day we are inviting geocachers for a workshop Creation Celebration: Get Me Up There!

In this workshop we invite all those geocachers who previously passed the T4,5 and T5 geocaches, those who have acquired some equipment, but are not really sure how to use it and those, who are visiting the tree tops frequently, but would like to share their skills or learn something new. We will start with the very basics - how to get yourself up in the tree if you have a minimum of equipment - harness, 2 loops and a carabiner. Hopefully we will progress to other ways of climbing as well using ropes and other equipment, talk about equipment maintenance, teamwork etc.

Everyone is responsible for their own safety, health and life! Everyone should assess their skills, abilities and fears. There will be no competition, we will be learning new things and simply have fun.

  • Date, time and duration of the event: Sunday, 7th of April, 12:00-15:00
  • Meeting point: the pine of Knaģis
  • Please take with you: obligatory - any kind of helmet, safety first! Additionally - anything helpful for climbing, gloves, hot tea, water, stuff for a little picknick. All the things you brought that will become trash, you will also take out of the forest.

    See you!
