Not Your Average CITO

Welcome to the second NYA CITO event!

Here's a little known island in the middle of Indian Creek. I visited the island and it has ample trash for us to gather. Getting to the island requires a tricky trek across uneven boulders in the stream and a challenging climb/scramble onto the island. It may also require wading - depending upon water levels. You should plan to bring your waders. I reserve the right to cancel this CITO the morning of the event if the water levels are high or dangerous. We won't be stupid.

The usual words of caution abide. You and your party participate at your own risk and can choose not to participate at any time.

Meet at the parking coordinates at 7:30 AM and we'll make our way to GZ with trash bags.

At 8:30 we'll return to parking with our haul. Once there, we'll take stock of our work, grab a picture, and head on our way.
