We placed this cache to kick off our 2019 camping season. We made use of the nice little campground across the street from the trail head. We placed it here because of the awesome views of the Cascade Mountains and Mt Bachelor from the cache location.
The hike from the trail head is fairly steep for about 1.5 miles or so you will come to the top of the ridge and the arrow will be pointing west. Turn right off the trail and follow the gentle ridge to the cache area . From the parking spots head easterly across the spring up the gentle slope to the trail turn left onto the trail and follow to the same gentle ridge. Look for a tree strangling a rock and a plastic snake strangling a metal pipe. The cache is well protected from rodents and weather. Please replace as you found it. Be sure to bring plenty of water on hot days, as there is none available at the cache location.
