Markovac je ime dobio po Marku, ne svecu, već slijepcu, kojem je izvor vratio vid. Tako barem legenda kaže. Nije legenda (ali koliko je staro nije ni daleko) - prekopakranske cure imale su običaj jednom godišnje, o Uskrsu, dolaziti ovdje na izvor. Izvor je bio i nezaobilazna točka kod hodočašća na kapelicu sv. Roka.
Do izvora se može doći pješice za 30tak minuta stazom koja počinje kod crkve ili autom (gotovo drive-in).
Markovac's name was given after Mark, not the saint, but a blind guy, whose sight was restored by the water from the spring. At least the legend says so. It's not a legend (but judging by its age, not too far away) - girls from Prekopakra had a custom every year, about Easter, to visit the spring. Markovac was also an unavoidable point for pilgrimage to the chapel of St. Rok.
Cache can be reached by foot on a path that starts at the church in about half an hour or by car (almost drive-in).
