Geocache Description:

New small park along the Paskamansett River. Located between routes 6 & 195 near the N. Dartmouth Mall. Very congested area that can only be approached travelling west on route 6.

No great vistas here but some interesting history (read the historic marker). The cache was placed here to try to clean up the area. Please bring a small plastic bag with you & leave with a few items of trash. It is distressing that such a new park is being abused so badly. This is very close to the State Police barracks & they will likely notice the traffic in & out - let's set a good example for geocachers when they come to investigate what is going on.

This is a replacement cache for the original cache at the landing which was recently removed when the park was cleaned. It is a small film container with a log and small pencil. No room for trinkets, etc.
