Ironwood has become known for its newest beautiful mining murals which depict and honor both the local mining history and local miners whose families paid to have a relative's image and or name painted on the murals. However not many people know or pay much attention to where Ironwood's oldest surviving mural (an old advertisement) is located. Since we like to hunt multi caches, we decided to highlight this old mural.
The starting coordinates for this short two stage multi cache will take you to the location of this mural near downtown Ironwood, where you will gather information to come up with the coordinates to the final nearby stage. There is plenty of free parking available at both the starting location and at the final location.
Although this mural has faded over the years since it was originally painted, the needed information can still be easily obtained. In fact, some may even remember the jingle and not need to study the required information very long.
