Geocache Description:

[LV] Slēpnis ir 1,5L PET pudeles sagatave, kurā atrodas viesu grāmata un zīmulis; tas novietots atjaunotās Dīvajas takas malā, tuvāk vietai, kur sākas Dīvajas upīte.

[EN] Cache is a 1,5L PET preform which contains logbook and pencil. It is located near restored Divaja trail, a bit closer to the point where begins small river Divaja .

[LV] Dīvajas taka

Ejot pa taku, vairākkārt nākas gan pacelties kalnā, gan nolaisties ieplakā vai pat dziļas gravas dibenā. Ja esat nākuši uz slēpni no Skrīveru pārtikas kombināta puses, tad divas gravas būsiet šķērsojuši - Sprūdu un Puntūžu gravu. Ja nācāt no pretējās puses, tad viss vēl priekšā!

As you walk along the trail, you may have to ascend a hill several times, descend into a valley, or even at the bottom of a deep ravine. If you have come to the cache from the Skriveri food factory, you will have crossed two ravines - Sprūdu and Puntūži ravine. If you came from the opposite side, then everything is ahead! In some places the trail winds along clayey landslides. Be careful! For a moment, through the trees, one can observe the flow of the Divaja river, behind which there may be discernible outlines of the old road of the parish.

Divaja nature trail was initially created in late 70s of last century by Skriveri teacher Leonids Antons and his pupils. After Latvia got its independence the private ownership of the lands was restored and it was hard to continue the maintenance of this and other nature trails in Skriveri. The trails were neglected and they grew over.  Thanks to the initiative of the young people of Skriveri in 2018 the restoration of the trail was started.

At one end of the trail, opposite the Skriveri food factory, on Sprudu Hill is a grand oak, and at the other end is Satekas, the place where the Maizīte and Brasla rivers turn into Divaja.
