Geocaching goes to the movies!

It's time for the annual Geocaching International Film Festival!  We'll be screening the films of the finalists and voting for our favorite. Here's the schedule.

  • 3:00 - Arrive, sign cake...uh, I mean log, get popcorn and ballots, introduction

  • 3:10 - Films begin

  • 4:15 - Intermission

    • Vote on favorite film and turn in ballots

    • Eat log...uh, I mean cake

    • Find a cache in your piece of cake and win a copy of the geocaching movie Treasure

  • 4:30 - Special Feature Begins

  • 6:00 - Say goodbye until next year

GCHQ will be again be giving a People's Choice Award based on individual votes. There will be a link posted in an announcement (log) from GCHQ on this cache page once voting becomes available.

The Special Feature will be another geocaching video. It is NOT part of the GIFF reel. Just more geocaching fun on the screen. Plan the time to stay and watch.

Thanks to Big M of AMFM_RadioCachers for the log/cake!

Once again we are sponsored by the Computer Science Dept at the U through the auspice of lesdubois. Many thanks to them for getting us a nice "theater" again.

Come out to enjoy some movies and earn a souvenir!
