Back for a 4th year but in a bold new location - it's The Yorkshire Christmas Fayre!
Initially created as a fundraiser for the 2018 UK Mega event, we are delighted to dust the mothballs out and offer the opportunity for subsequent event committees and other stall holders to provide you, the discerning geocacher with all your Christmas gift needs.
Of course, there is no need to spend money here, you can just come for the good time, the sunshine, the moon light, or even just the boogie.
We are delighted to bring you to the new location of Old Rishworthian RUFC clubhouse. Not too far away from our old base and still benefitting from similar transport and accommodation arrangements but far enough away to give us new space to plunder and you all new locations to explore. Honest, it's flipping ace there, you'll love it.
As in previous years, the day will be broken down in to several parts;
From 11:00 Stallholders will ply their wares
Around 14:00 there may be a seasonal visitor
We should have caches available from around 3pm for you to clear off and find. Or you will be given a job helping reset the space.
From 17:00 we will be moving in to evening entertainment. We would be grateful if attendees could bring with them something for a buffet (and raffle, naturally, there is a hall to pay for after all 
) and there will be a bit of a disco. Or music at any rate. But not so loud you can't hear yourself talk... Last year we created a lot of rubbish with the buffet and in 2019 we are all a lot more conscious of single use etc, so if you can bring buffet in recyclable product to take home with you, such as geocache boxes for example, that would be great.
Game show. Damn right there'll be a game show. It won't be 15 to 1. Lessons learned.
At this stage those timings are subject (and likely) to change but you get the idea...

For now, it would be really useful in your will attends to give us some detail:
How many kids, what age, boys or girls etc that you will be bringing, so that we can let Santa know
What you might be able to bring to a buffet. It would be a shame if we ended up with 57 bags of wotsits. I like wotsits no more now than I did in 2016.
It's a long day. We don't expect people to be there the full time. But we'll probably get someone to design a fancy flashing gif for anyone that manages the full stretch But seriously, some will want to just come for the party, some for the fayre, it's all good!
