6:00 pm: EVENT CACHE GC8DDF8: 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival Viewing

Join us for the official Mississippi premier showing of the ten award winning Film Shorts in the 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival competition. This year, CaneMaster is celebrating his fifth year in a row of hosting this entertaining event in Mississippi. Often funny, sometimes zany, even beautiful, these short films made by geocachers from all over the world, give us a picture of how people from different cultures perceive and enjoy this favorite hobby we all share. It is a strange link we all have with each other.

Anyone who has ever geocached in a foreign country, or attended a Geocaching Event in a foreign country, or had one of their Travel Bugs travel through a foreign county, knows what I mean. We may not understand their language, even with Google Translator, but in sharing a hobby that we all understand and love, we share a language that transcends words. All attendees will receive the Official GIFF Souvenir on their geocaching.com account when they log their attendance online.

FAVORITE FILM VOTE:

Immediately following the Viewing we will vote to determine our favorite Film of the evening.

PRIZE DRAWING:

After the vote a drawing will be held and the winner will receive an official 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival geocoin and travel tag.

8:30 pm: SPOOKY NIGHT CACHE FTF GROUP HUNT

After the GIIF Viewing , RockThrower will be leading a FTF Spooky Night Cache Group Hunt in the woods of Roosevelt State Park for an about-to-be published geocache. Join us for this fun and slightly spooky hunt and share a FTF with the group.

SUNDAY MORNING:

8:00 am: EVENT CACHE GC8DEKZ: CITO

Help us clean up around the pavilion where we hosted our Pot Luck Supper and Film Showing. All participants will receive the Official CITO Souvenir on their geocaching.com account when they log their attendance online.
