Geocache Description:

17 November 2019, 12:00 - 13:45

The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) started in 2013 to formally share epic geocaching moments captured on camera. This year sixteen films became finalists in the 2019 Geocaching International Film Festival, but only one can earn the highest of accolades: The Signal Award.

Event:

Date: Sunday 17th November 2019

Time:  noon – 1.45pm (We’ll press play at 12.15pm)

Location: Room 208, King Edward Court, Stuart Street, Dunedin.

[The listed coordinates take you to the building. From either the back-car park entrance or main entrance off Stuart Street - make your way to the central stairs (follow the Yoga signs as this next door). Go to the top floor then turn right and Room 208 is on the left].

There is a lift to this floor but please let me know the day before, so we can arrange to get the key.

Food and Drink: There is a kitchen we can use (couple of rooms down the hall, left as you leave 208); there is tea, coffee, water, cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, kettle and a microwave. I will bring some normal green top milk along with popcorn. Feel free to bring your own food and drink.

We have to start packing the room away at 1.45pm for the next group who have the room at 2pm, so please help by washing up your own cups and plates, putting rubbish in bins especially if you need to leave early.

Toilets: yes (down the hall to the left as you leave room 208).

Now that the house keeping is done onto the event itself:

The screening will be about an hour long.  We will have voting slips which will be collected at 1.30pm and our Dunedin screening winner announced at 1.40pm.

Remember there is a virtual souvenir available this year for attending this event.
