Geocache Description:

29 February 2020, 10:00 - 11:45

Litter not only blights the environment & makes areas look untidy, it also affects natural habitats & wildlife.

Join us as we clean up the cycle track and surrounding area around Beamish.

This event is also part of Durham County Councils Big Spring Clean.

Well behaved Geohounds are welcome along with Geokids.

Litter pickers / gloves and binbags will all be provided courtesy of Sustrans and Durham County Council.

Please bring along a pair of gardening gloves if you have them. It may also be useful to bring along a drink and a snack for yourself.

Please come along dressed for the weather with warm / waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.

There are a number of parking spaces available at the listed coordinates at Eden Place Picnic area. Please park sensibly and considerately of local residents.

This event will make a huge difference to the local area and really make the place nicer for people to cycle, walk and geocache in!

I hope to see you there!
