Event Details

Date: Saturday 2nd May 2020.

Time: This event will commence at 09:00hrs (the time the Centre opens) and end at 11:00hrs.

Where: Dobbies Garden Centre Restaurant, Strawberry Hill, Saintfield Road, LISBURN BT27 5PG.

Directions Inside Centre: Walk through the main entrance, turn left and follow your nose to the Restaurant.  When you walk past the Till/Payment area for the restaurant, walk straight ahead until the seating area opens up on your left.  We will be sitting in the long seating area along the wall there.

Accessibility: The Centre is wheelchair accessible.

FTF Prize: A logbook will be available to sign with FTF being drawn once everyone has done so.  FTF prize will be an unactivated Travel Bug.

Why: An opportunity to secure two new digital souvenirs and a new icon and celebrate 20 years since the U.S. government discontinued its use of Selective Availability in order to make GPS more responsive to civil and commercial users worldwide  This increased the accuracy of GPS technology tenfold and the very next day, the worlds very first geocache was hidden.
