A potluck lunch and socialization will be held at the large pavilion (has electric) at Madison Township Community Park, near the village of Tidal, Armstrong County, PA. Please enter/exit ONLY through the waypointed entrance and NOT through the nearby cemetery even though some maps show it as a road.
Bring a dish to share for a potluck lunch. Bring your own drinks if you want something other than bottled water. I'll provide plates, cups, napkins, eating utensils, and bottled water.
Near the pavilion are portajohns, playground equipment, cement basketball court, baseball field, & horseshoe pits if you wish to utilize them (bring own sports equipment). There are about 300 geocaches within 3-4 miles of the event, including a 5/5 (GC3VT8F). There is a gas station/pizza shop and an ice cream stand 2 miles away in the village of Widnoon.
The event grounds are not accessible to tractor trailers, but if you wish to attend please contact me. You can park at the municipal building in Widnoon and someone will pick you up.
Friendly geo-dogs are permitted, but please clean up any poop that happens in the grassy picnic / playground area and put in a trash barrel away from the picnic tables (or throw it in the woods).
You will earn a special icon for your profile and a special souvenir for attending this event to celebrate 20 years of geocaching.
