As all keen Church Micro enthusiasts know, 7th November is "Church Micro Day". On 7th November 2007, Steve (sadexploration) placed the first in the series, Church Micro 1...Earlswood, and added a further 49 before opening the series up for others to contribute. The series has now grown to just under 16,000 caches, with over 10,700 still active. More than 202,000 cachers have found at least one cache in the series, and the combined number of finds now exceeds 2.2 million. Quite remarkable!
Having been given the opportunity to host a Community Celebration Event, it was a no-brainer for me to combine it with my favourite national series.
Venue: The World's End, Arundel Road, Patching, West Sussex, BN13 3UQ
Time: 6.30pm to 9.00pm
Plenty of parking available in the car-park. The pub does food (menu available here) - they have asked if we can give an idea of numbers and food requirements, so please can you log a 'Will Attend' with an indication of food required so we can let them know. Once we have an idea of numbers, they'll let us know which area of the pub they will allocate to us.
Attending this event will count towards your Church Micro find stats and also qualify you for the "unofficial" souvenir:
