HELP PLEASE. Some years ago I bought some land to graze my flock of rare breed sheep. Along the boundary with a public bridleway a hedge had been planted with plastic tree guards. These are now starting to perish and need removing. They can be uncoiled with care but any brittle pieces need to be carefully picked up to avoid being taken by birds or walked on by animals . In anticipation of the forthcoming lambing event GC8G1GA I hope that lots of cachers will be keen to help this project and if we get enough volunteers the 200 yard stretch could be cleared in one effort.
To repeat I own the hedge so I am asking you to help on my land but only the hedge next to a public right of way . I have cleared the tree guards from the others .
Disposal bags provided but please bring gloves that protect but are not so chunky that you will be unable to manipulate the guards off. Kneeler also essential .
Not suitable for very small children due to sharpness of broken guards and thorns .
