Hampshire Midweek Monthly Meeting #134

The Crown Hotel
8 High Street,
Hampshire (just 😉),
PO10 7AW
01243 372806

Well, this is my first event so please be gentle! 😊

The Crown is now under new management and Adi & Claire warmly welcome us to the pub for this month's event. They have worked there in the past under the previous management so they are aware of who we are and what we do. They have agreed to close the pub as has been the case with previous events held there.

Food will be available from the main menu, pre-orders of food will be welcomed to help ease the pressure on the kitchen staff. When ordering please advise it is for the Geocaching event.

On-street parking available in the immediate area, and 2 large car parks (free after 6 pm) can be found within 3 or 4 minutes walk at:-
South Street Car park N 50 50.740 W 000 56.226 and
Palmers Road Car Park N 50 50.909 W 000 56.170.

If we have visitors from across the Sussex border or even further east, they will be made very welcome. Take the left fork at the first Millpond, past the Garage and up the hill and where the Hotel will be found on the right after the road bend and square.

There will be the usual good raffle and the large wooden treasure chest will be available for the swapping and discovering of Geocoins and Travel Bugs.

If you have not been to an event cache before and would like to experience something different, then please come along and enjoy yourself. We are a very friendly bunch and promise not to bite or say NO to your offer of a beer!!

Other Cachers will be on hand to “listen” to tales of your caching adventures both good and bad and also proffer hints on those tricky puzzle caches that have been tormenting you!

Children and dogs will be made very welcome, provided that they are kept under control!

Any questions? Please feel free to drop me an e-mail via my profile
