Celebrating a German Geocaching Event tradition in London laugh!

Maunday Thursday, "Gründonnerstag" in German, is a very special day for the German geocaching community. In April 2007 in Berlin a new idea was born, to have an event on this special day and calling it "Dönerstag" ( . The idea spread all over Germany and other countries, just as Austria, Italy and Mallorca, and now in all regions Dönerstag events are being helt. The community always meets at a Döner/Kebab location somewhere in town.

Being this year´s Maundy Thursday on holiday in London, parvaa and me thought why not celebrating that funny tradition here ;-)? Having a döner kebab ( talking about geocaching and other important things, swapping travelbugs or coins.
