More March Mulching and maintenance in the woodland at Horsbere Brook 10:00 - 12:00

Friday 20th March

CITO 2020, Season One

Attend a CITO from Sunday 1st March through to Sunday 31st May 2020 and get a souvenir

 

Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).

Where: Meet us on in the woodland (published co-ordinates), look out for the Countryside Rangers Truck. 

What: Join us mulching and caring for our woodland trees in the community wwoodland. We will be replacing supports and mulching trees. Mulching suppresses weeds and gives our trees a nutrient boost.

 

 

How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and gloves, bring a bucket if you have one.

Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. They will introduce the session and do the health and safety brief prior to work commencing.
