Geocache Description:

NOT AT THE POSTED COORINATES!!!

(but it's a good place to park)

Come spend an hour or two at one of the prettiest spots in all of Wisco!  There is nothing impossible about this puzzle; just play the Adventure Lab that I created until you are done, and then you'll receive the coordinates to this cache's final location.  This Adventure Lab does require a fair bit of hiking up and down some big hills, thus the higher terrain rating for this bonus mystery cache.  Once you get to ground zero, it's no more than a 1.5/2.

Per my note posted on 4/27/2020 available here:

Yes, the stairs are closed. You don't need to take the stairs.
Yes, the overlook is closed. You don't need to go out to the overlook.
Once you cross the bridge by the falls, follow the PINK trail (which is NOT closed) up and around to the top of the bluff, where you can then get to the two final locations without crossing any barriers or breaking any rules.

Please note:  The final two stages of the Adventure Lab and the final bonus cache are north of the river, which is in a part of the park that is open to various forms of hunting in the Fall and Spring.  This part of the park MAY BE CLOSED TO NON-HUNTERS during these timeframes.  Please check the website and watch for signage to help eliminate conflicts or worse.  If the park is closed for hunting, please respect the rules and return when it's open for general use.  From the State Park website:

Hunting and trapping are allowed in most state parks and on some linear trails each year from November 15 – December 15. Hunting with legal bow and crossbow methods is allowed Dec. 15 through the Sunday nearest January 6. Also, hunting and trapping are allowed April 1 through the Tuesday nearest May 3. Some parks and trails have weapons restrictions, variances in season dates, or are closed or have areas closed to hunting and trapping. For questions on specific parks, check with the park office and consult the park’s hunting map for specific dates and allowable activities.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Aaron L. Mason, Assistant Park Superintendent at Willow River State Park. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
