How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

08 August 2020, 09:00 - 12:00

We are having a brunch! "Why so early", you ask. There are 2 reasons, first, the parking lot is not all that large and once it is full, it is difficult to park anywhere else. The second reason is that geocachers will have more time to explore the area after the event. There are 4 caches within the park, but within 2 miles, you can find at least one cache of these types: Earth, Mystery, Multi, Virtual, Traditional, Letterbox Hybrid, and a Wherigo. That means cachers can get 8 icons (The Event cache counts too!) in a single day.

We have rented the outdoor pavillion that has a roof, so the event is on, rain or shine. There are 6 picnic tables beside the pavillion and there are restrooms nearby. What more could we need? Oh yes, some food and drink. Please bring something to share that you would consider to be "Brunch Food." So that we don't get only Dunkin Donuts, when it gets closer to the date, please indicate what food you will be bringing. We will provide plates, napkins, and plasticware.

This Event is part of a limited release of Community Celebration Events to celebrate 20 years of geocaching. Geocachers hosted events between May 2, 2020 and December 31, 2020. Learn more about Community Celebration Events on the Geocaching Blog."

Note: Log into this event and you will get a new icon and a new souvenir.
