Geocache Description:

02 May 2020, 10:00 - 12:00

Geocaching is what you’ve made it. Entering into the 20th year of geocaching, we want to celebrate what’s most important: this community-driven game!

Let's get together at Cahaba River Park on May 2, 2020 to celebrate 20 years of Geocaching. This will be your first opportunity in a decade to log the infamous Lost and Found Event Cache - redesigned with a new icon for 2020!

  • Bring a sack lunch or snack (bottled water will be provided) and share with us what is on your "wish-list" for the upcoming summer.
  • Come prepared to tell the group about your favorite geocaching experience, and your most embarrassing!
  • Bring geocoins, pathtags and trackables for others to log or to trade.
  • Play geogames, weather permitting
  • Sign the log, pick up a door prize number, and stay for a group photo and drawing at 11:45 AM.
  • Come prepared, if you wish, to hike one of the trails at the park and find some geocaches after the event.
