Mardle #65
A Mardle is a name given to a monthly meeting of Geocachers from the Norfolk and Suffolk area. They are held at different locations every month. The word means to chat or natter and seems very appropriate for the monthly gatherings.
This month we are in North West Ipswich at Castle Hill United Reform Church in Dryden Road Ipswich which even has it's own Church Micro. We'll be meeting in the rear hall where there will be tea and coffee available ( or soft drinks) so do bring cakes, biscuits sausage rolls etc - please do not bring alcohol as we are not allowed to have this on the premises.
Of course with the ongoing issues with Corona Virus I will be monitoring Government Guidelines for such an event - also as I'm a member here I am having the hall for free - the only slight issue is that if we should get a booking for a birthday party I would have to find another venue as lettings are a very important source of income for our Church but I'm hoping with only 7 or 8 weeks to go this won't be an issue.
Look forward to seeing you all in April.
