Geocache Description:

29 February 2020, 14:00 - 14:30

Hello geocachers!

On the occasion of the Leap Day 2020, I would like to invite you to my first event at all. You will have a chance to earn a special geocaching souvenir and to fill an extra day to 366 day find calendar. If you miss this chance, your next opportunity won't be until 2024!

Shortly about the leap day... The 29th February is a date that occurs once every four years, and is called leap day. This day is added to the calendar in leap years as a corrective measure due to the fact the Earth does not orbit around the Sun in precisely 365 days. A leap year is a calendar year containing one additional day.

Now some informations about the event itself... We will meet at the above coordinates at 2pm. There will be logbook to sign in, chance to meet some (not only) local geocachers, opportunity to discover or excacnge travel bugs & geocoins and of course time for a conversation about geocaching. The event will last at least half an hour, in case of interest we can move to a nearby restaurant afterward.
