Riverside Park is located in Castle Hayne. This linear park is bordered by the Cape Fear River, and has a community building for parties, events, and meetings. There is also a boat launch for jon boats and kayaks. Park hours are 8am-sunset each day.
This geocache is one of 12 caches in the New Hanover County Parks & Gardens Geo-Challenge. All 12 caches are small, light brown/green plastic containers. This challenge and prize was created for children, but all ages are welcome to participate.
To complete the challenge:
- Print a Geo-Challenge passport from our website
- Locate all 12 caches
- Stamp your passport with the stamper in each cache
- Take your completed passport to the Parks Office to receive your prize
