On the 15th of April 2020, it is going to be the first-ever event that I have hosted.
This is in the second week of the school's Easter holidays.
The event is at Manor Health Park, Halifax HX3 0EB.
The event is from 11:30 to 13:00 but if the weather is decent I would be staying later.
At the posted coordinates is a group of picnic tables that have some slight tree cover at this time of year, This is the meeting point for the event.
I am going to be there earlier to try to hold the picnic tables so we would have somewhere to sit.
There are many parking places at the front of the park but please be aware that there are parking charges and time restrictions so please take note of these whilst you park, there is also a designated car park for the park which I have included some coordinates for this, this is free but please still take note on how long the parking is permitted for.
This event is going to be a meet and greet so old geocaches and new ones can put names to profile pictures and gain knowledge and experiences. The is also going to be a box for TB's but please make sure they fit in it, ones that don't please make sure that someone is willing to take them away as I can't be held responsible for TB's that don't fit in the box.
If the weather isn't great we can walk up to the Jungle experience where there are indoor tables and chairs in the reception area to keep warm and dry. And if you want to go into the Jungle it's only £1 per person and under 3's are free (I'm afraid dogs aren't allowed in the jungle reception but are fine in the park itself).
The park features a children's play area, sunken garden, walled garden, Jungle Experience, FREE toilets, and a cafe that sells coffee/ cakes/ etc. You are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat in the park or in the Jungle's reception but not in the cafe.
